The development process consists of more than 30 stages and takes several months to complete. Each model is subjected to rigorous testing and quality control to guarantee a comfortable fit.
All Ameos models are made of biodegradable acetate, an eco-friendly material renowned for its strength, elasticity, and wide range of colours. To ensure crystal-clear vision, the sunglasses have CR-39 & nylon lenses with anti-scratch coating that provide 100 percent protection from UVA & UVB rays.

Ameos manufactures its sunglasses in collaboration with various small (family-owned) independent workshops in Italy. All Ameos’ frames are made from biodegradable acetate – a plant-based material. The raw materials used in production are sourced from responsible suppliers that are committed to sustainability.
